Doctors issue in Punjab may be resolved through talks

Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz has expressed solidarity with the protesting doctor and said that the raids on the houses of doctors and mishandling with the ladies in Punjab are highly deplorable.

While talking to the media here on Saturday , Raja Riaz said that the despotism of Shahbaz Sharif has been prevailed in the Punjab. The provincial government should resolve the issue by bringing the doctors on negotiation table and accepting their due demands.

He said that doctors are protesting on the roads for their demands , while on the other hand the patients are in the state of nuisance in the hospitals as no one is there to look after them whereas forgetting all the worries of the people , the “imperial Mughal monarchs” of Punjab are in a deep sleep.

He said that the Punjab government should fulfill the appropriate demands of the doctors to provide better healthcare facilities to the people . “Relatives of those people who expired in the hospitals during the strike of the doctors should register the murder case against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif . PPP would support them”, Raja Riaz added

He said that the talks between doctors and the government were successful but due to rigid behaviour of Provincial Secretary Health, the demands of the doctors were not realized.
