Doctors’ protest in Punjab entered fifth day on Saturday as the hospitals stopped admitting patients, besides cancelling several operations.

The Young Doctors Association representatives said, “The salaries we are receiving are not sufficient to meet our expenses and we will continue our protest till we not get an increment”. Considering the sufferings of patients, doctors announced to check them on roads instead of checking them in the outdoor units.

Meanwhile, in Multan the doctors have also stopped attending the indoor units that added the problems of the patients who were being denied admission in the hospitals of Multan.
